Wordplay

Today, an engineering geologist came down from Portland to have a look at the hill by our house. He needed to see if the ground is stable enough to rebuild the deck like it was before the trees fell.

He had to go all the way down our stairs to the river, and work his way back up the side of the hill, so he went back to his truck to get his waterproof boots.

The critters all around have had to be disturbed...again.
